Hairs Looking At You

Peachy Keen

This year our stake presidency has challenged each person to can at least 1 jar of peaches; the idea being you can't can just 1 jar at a time. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to do it because I missed getting peaches on time. Well, on Tuesday I got a call from an older brother in our ward telling me he had 3 buckets of peaches he gleaned that had my name on them! And he gave them to us for free! What a blessing! So the next day, I took them over to my mom's house and she helped me can them. We canned about 45 quarts. It was great! My mom had to do a lot of the work because I had all my kids there too and needed to keep them entertained and happy. So I owe her a huge

THANKS!

This is the bin full of peaches we started with.

Say cheese...er, I mean, PEACHES!!!!

Joe was so cool. He was working around my parent's house that day and stopped in to see how things were going. He made sure he canned his jar of peaches too! What a great guy!

My Favorite Kind of Surprise

A couple weeks ago, we found some old rolls of film that had never been developed. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they were pictures of Kate when she was a baby! That is my most favorite kind of surprise!

Ahh! Hugs!

Kate and Sam LOVE to give each other hugs...
and they get real giggly and silly when they do it.

Just as a side note - Sammy loves to wear Kate’s pink Dora shoes and walk around the house (as you can see in the video). Kate is really good about just letting him wear them but one morning when he was putting them on she said, “No, Sam. Those are LADIES shoes!”

Just Another Daddy "Supervised" Activity

The other evening, Joe was "watching" the kids. I guess Kate had left her markers out on the table and Sammy helped himself. He must have thought the blue looked especially tasty. All I know is that when Joe looked over he found Sam looking like this.

I couldn't help but to post these two funny pics we took of Sam with my sunglasses on.
He thought he was so cool.

We Love You, Grandma and Grandpa Chandler!

Joe's parents are currently serving a mission in Salt Lake in Church and Family History. They were able to come home for a week to visit with family. It was so great to see them again. It was their first time to meet their 3 newest granddaughters: Aliya, Molly and Alice.
The kids really loved being able to play and laugh and snuggle with Grandma and Grandpa. Thanks for coming home to visit. You are a great example of choosing the right and doing what Heavenly Father asks.
We love you very much!
Grandma Chandler taught Kate the "I love you" sign while they were here.
