Painting Projects

I finally talked Joe into painting the kids' rooms. The kids were very excited. Kate got to help with the painting in her room and had a good time with daddy. We're still in the process of airing out so the paint smell to go away but the finished products are right around the corner.

Kate and Sam getting ready to paint.

Kate and Sammy excited to get started.

Daddy and Kate having a great time painting pink together.

Kate hard at work painting pink with only a few drips on the carpet and a few splotches on the trim. Pretty good for a 3-year-old.

The newly finished pink wall. (Airing out the room.)

While the rooms are having the paint smell aired out of them, the kids are sleeping on Kate's mattress in our room. We put the baby crib mattress next to Sammy's side just in case he rolls off the bed in the night but he soon found out it actually made for a great trampoline.

So cute, I think every little girl needs a pink room at one time or another :) We were up there over the weekend and missed Sherstine by two days! I will be headed up on August 1st, we should try to get together then, I know that's only a few weeks after your baby is due. It would be fun to meet at a park for dinner or something like that. How do you think you'll be feeling by then?

I love that shade of pink! Good choice. What color are you painting in Sammy's room? I can't believe how big Sam is. I feel like I don't know him at all. He is so good at that face plant!

Oh my goodness, I cannot wait to get into my/our own house to do just that.....paint the rooms. Im so sick of just the original white rooms.
Yes I am pregnant and speaking of pregnant, there are about 4 more ladies in my ward who are pregnant too. And 3 of them are in the primary. our Primary program was bumped to mid sept "just in case".
Isnt the blogging thing the coolest way to interact and see all our old/new friends?
