Reminiscing with the Girls

Friday night we had an evening of reminiscing with friends from back in the day. We had all been friends growing up and have remained friends through the years. Of course now we are all married and don't live in the same neighborhood like we used to. Sherstine lives in Kentucky and Jamie lives in Utah.

It was so much fun to remember a lot of the funny things we did together as kids. (milk coming out of Jamie's nose because she was laughing so hard at my birthday party, me throwing up blue Squeeze-It drink in the tent in Sherstine's backyard, singing contests in front of Sherstine's little sisters, Jamie getting scared in Sherstine's basement because of the scary Bloody Mary stories Sherstine told...Those were the days!)

So in an attempt to find old pictures, this is what I was able to come up with:

THEN:

We all met over at Jamie's parent's house and Jamie made us a great dinner and then had a cute craft for us to do while we talked. We made little barrettes out of felt for our little girls and nieces. It was so thoughtful of her to have that planned.

Thanks, Jamie, that was great!

(And thanks, Kathy, for holding Alice the whole evening. It was a great to have a break from only having one free hand!)
