We had our family pictures taken yesterday. Once again it was quite an experience. Usually Kate and Sam both freak out and scream and cry. But this time Kate was an angel and did a great job following direction. We finally got Sam to calm down and sit for a second by letting him play with Joe's blackberry. He did just as we expected as you can see from the picture with all 3 kids. We thought it was kind of funny so we just kept it. I mean, honestly, we can't expect to have every picture exactly perfect...especially when you have 3 kids all 3 years old and younger.
Yep. Those are my kids....oh how I love 'em!

They turned out so adorable! I hate getting pics taken, I worry all day about what to wear (even if I have prev picked them out) and then the hair...mine and mackenzie's, and getting there on time, making sure the kids are fed and had their naps....ugh, the list goes on and on. And then there is my husband who is just as childish as my 2 year old, he hates hates hates to get pics taken as well, I have to yell at him as well to smile with his mouth open (another child to take care of). Garsh, its amazing we ever get family pics taken at all, I made it sound really fun huh?

Wow! Rach I love the pics. All of them turned out great in their own little way but I am amazed at Alice. I have not seen real good pics of her since we were there and she is a really pretty baby. I can't believe how much growing she has done in just a couple months!

I think they turned out great! And I actually like the one with all 3 kids. I love to capture their real personalities. I think we will appreciate those more when we're older than the perfectly posed pictures that don't remind us of all their little personality traits!

Thanks. I had to have an emergency c-section with Payton and now she just prefers i have them. I kind of like the idea of having a day picked and just going in! Yes we have her name picked out, but Justin wants to wait until she is born to announce it!
